You will operate radiographic equipment, position patients accurately, maintain radiation safety, document procedures in the EMR, and collaborate with radiologists and clinicians while delivering compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification and state licensure as required.
• FL State License is required or active.
• Strong patient-centered care and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine X-ray examinations and specialized imaging as ordered.
• Position patients accurately and operate radiographic equipment.
• Verify patient identity and medical information before procedures.
• Explain imaging procedures and address patient questions or concerns.
• Maintain radiation safety practices and shielding protocols.
• Document procedures in the EMR and PACS.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean, safe imaging environment.
• Adhere to HIPAA and regulatory requirements.
