Job summary

BJC HealthCare is hiring a Registered Nurse for wound care in Valley Park, Missouri. This full-time, outpatient role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with 8-hour shifts from 8:30am to 5:00pm and a focus on high-quality wound management.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• BSN degree preferred for role advancement.
• Wound care experience preferred.
• Minimum two years of RN experience preferred for practice level.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of wound care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment, home care and medications.
• Collaborate with interprofessional team to ensure safety and quality of care.
• Maintain documentation and participate in professional development.
• Coordinate care across the continuum to support patient outcomes.
• Adhere to safety and regulatory standards in a high-acuity outpatient setting.
