Job summary

Hillcrest HealthCare System in Tulsa, Oklahoma is seeking a day shift, part-time Outpatient Wound Care RN to join our team. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate wound care, identify dressing needs, and apply compression therapies as appropriate while partnering with patients and families.

Required: Oklahoma RN license, BLS within 14 days of hire, and the ability to perform lower extremity assessments; wound care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• RN license to practice in Oklahoma.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.
• Ability to identify and classify types of wounds.
• Ability to verbalize understanding of each dressing and which wounds they are appropriate for.
• Demonstrated knowledge of proper technique for various common compression therapies.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the proper technique for application of total contact casts and proper removal of total contact casts.
• Ability to perform lower extremity assessments.
