Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for its Outpatient Wound Care Clinic. The role supports wound care therapies, under RN or physician supervision, and may include HBO chamber duties as HLPN.

Shift: Full-Time – 32 hours/week, first shift with no evenings or holidays. Travel to Covington, Ft. Thomas, and Grant County clinics is required. Licensed LPN with UHMS HBO training preferred to deliver compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from approved school of practical nursing and licensed to practice nursing in the state where work is performed.
• UHMS HBO Team Training Course completion is required/preferred for HLPN.
• One year of current clinical nursing experience is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision and perform wound care therapies.
• Act as HLPN attendant and control operator of the HBO chamber when directed by HBO physicians and nurses.
• Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy to patients and families.
