Job summary

Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA is seeking a part-time LPN Outpatient - Vascular Surgery to support daily clinic operations. The role includes nursing care for patients, obtaining vitals, preparing for provider evaluations, and assisting during exams and procedures.

You will administer medications, coordinate lab and telehealth clinic setups, document in the EMR, and contribute to quality improvement while maintaining a professional demeanor and strong communication with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited practical nursing program or eligible to sit Virginia licensure exam.
• Current Virginia LPN licensure and BLS certification.
• Experience in physician office or clinic settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients in a physician practice or clinic setting.
• Complete patient assessments including vitals and chief complaints.
• Prepare patients for provider evaluation and assist during exams and procedures.
• Administer medications and injections as directed by the provider.
• Coordinate lab procedures and telemedicine/tele-dermatology clinic setup.
• Document patient information in the EMR in a timely manner.
