Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Department of Neurology is seeking a fellowship-trained Outpatient Vascular Neurologist to join our expanding Comprehensive Stroke Program. The appointment will be at Assistant Professor level on the Clinician Educator Track, with a majority focus on outpatient care.

The successful candidate will contribute to the MUSC Stroke Program, participate in teaching of fellows, house-staff and medical students, and engage in clinical trials and scholarly

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Neurology.
• Fellowship in Vascular Neurology.
• Focus on collaboration, innovation, and teamwork.
• Academic orientation and enthusiasm for teaching.

Responsibilities

• See patients in outpatient vascular neurology clinic.
• Teach vascular neurology fellows, residents, and medical students.
• Engage in clinical trials and scholarly activity.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary stroke team.
