Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Department of Neurology seeks a Vascular Neurologist to join its renowned Comprehensive Stroke Program. The candidate must be board-eligible or board-certified in general neurology and have completed ACGME fellowship training in Vascular Neurology.

The appointed faculty member will participate in inpatient rounds, the Stroke Consult Service, and the Telestroke program, while contributing to outpatient care and teaching vascular neurology fellows,

Qualifications

• The successful applicant must be board-eligible or board certified in general neurology and have completed ACGME-fellowship training in Vascular Neurology.
• Exposure to telestroke and tele-neurology services is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Participate in clinical activities within the MUSC Stroke Program including inpatient rounds on the Stroke Teaching Ward Service and Stroke Consult Service.
• Care for patients in the Outpatient Stroke Clinic and Telestroke consult program.
• Teach vascular neurology fellows, house-staff and medical students; participate in clinical trials when possible.
