Adventist HealthCare's Adventist Medical Group in Silver Spring, MD seeks an experienced Physician Assistant for our Outpatient Urology practice. The PA will perform rounds, assist in surgeries, and help develop treatment plans with the attending physician. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (40 hours).

Formación

• BS in Physician Assistant studies.
• Two years surgical experience or surgical residency preferred.
• NCCPA certification and Maryland PA license required.
• CDS and DEA required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform daily rounds and post-operative visits, documenting appropriately and communicating with attending.
• Assist as needed in surgeries, including pre/post-operative setup and documentation.
• Perform initial and on-going assessments, including H&Ps, to help develop treatment plans.
• Coordinate with other departments and consultants as needed for inpatient care and discharge planning.
• Coordinate service recovery to ensure positive patient experience and clinical excellence.
• Order and interpret tests, and determine treatments or follow-ups based on results.
• Provide patients and families with education, counseling, and discharge instructions.
