Stability Direct is seeking an Outpatient Ultrasound Technologist for a job in White Plains, New York.

  • Salary Range: $85,000 - $143,000 annually

Position Summary

Performs routine and specialized diagnostic sonograms, prepares patients, assists radiologists, manages equipment, develops films, and maintains standards of care. Ensures patient safety and comfort, and adheres to continuing education requirements.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Prepares and positions patients for examinations, documents images properly.
  • Produces quality images and assists physicians during procedures.
  • Performs equipment quality assurance and calibrations, orders supplies.
  • Works in emergency situations, on-call at Armonk Urgi-Center, and at other outpatient sites as needed, including holidays and overtime.
  • Maintains cleanliness of work areas and reports equipment issues.
  • Processes images and communicates findings with radiologists and physicians.
Education & Experience Requirements
  • Completion of a certified ultrasound program or equivalent certification.
  • ARDMS eligibility after 1 year and 1000 clinical hours; ARDMS required for ACR accreditation or ARRT (S) or RT (VS).
  • Experience preferred.
  • Must meet continuing education requirements.
  • BLS certification through AHA required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
