Job summary

Bozeman Health is seeking an Outpatient Sonographer 2 to perform ultrasound exams in an outpatient setting and assist physicians during procedures. You will generate images for interpretation and ensure timely documentation and archiving.

The role requires ARDMS in at least one category (OB/Gyn or Abdomen/Small Parts), advanced registry, AHA BLS, and two years of post‑graduate experience in advanced ultrasound. On‑site schedule may include weekends and on‑call as needed.

Qualifications

• ARDMS in OB/Gyn or Abdomen/Small Parts required.
• ARDMS advanced category certification required.
• Consideration given to fetal echocardiography, breast, pediatrics, or registered vascular technology; or 10 years of experience with plan to obtain advanced registry within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs outpatient US exams and procedures.
• Assists physicians and staff during exams and procedures.
• Documents all information for interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams.
• Performs ancillary duties to maintain distribution, billing, and archiving of exams.
• Retrieves and reviews prior studies and related health information for timely reporting.
• Supports quality indicators and participates in Bozeman Health strategic plan.
