Job summary

Bozeman Health seeks an Outpatient Sonographer 2 to perform ultrasound exams and related procedures in an outpatient setting. You will assist physicians, document findings for interpretation, and ensure proper archiving and retrieval of exams.

Requirements include ARDMS in OB/Gyn or Abdomen/Small Parts, an ARDMS advanced registry, and a current AHA BLS certification. Two years of post-graduate experience in advanced US practice is also required with a commitment to obtain advanced registry

Qualifications

• ARDMS in OB/Gyn or Abdomen/Small Parts required.
• ARDMS certification in an advanced category required.
• Current AHA BLS certification required.
• Two years of post-graduate experience in advanced US practice.

Responsibilities

• Performs US exams and procedures in an outpatient setting.
• Assists the physician and other staff during exams.
• Completes documentation for interpretation, archiving and retrieval of exams.
• Performs ancillary duties to maintain distribution, billing and archival of exams.
• Retrieves and reviews previous studies and related health information.
• Participates in quality indicators as described in Bozeman Health's strategic plan.
• Other related duties as assigned.
