Job summary

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Preferred: Graduate of a certified physical therapy technician program or comparable experience.
• Preferred: 1 year of experience in a hospital, rehabilitation, or outpatient setting as a therapy technician.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting in conducting medically prescribed therapy treatments to patients under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist.
• Provides non-clinical support services to the therapist including but not limited to maintaining patient treatment areas and basic clerical support.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
• This position will support both the downtown and Rio Rancho clinics.
