Job summary

Lovelace Health System in Albuquerque, NM seeks a day shift, full-time Outpatient Therapy Service Technician to support therapists in delivering prescribed treatments across downtown and Rio Rancho clinics.

Responsibilities include assisting with therapy sessions under licensed supervision, maintaining treatment areas, handling basic clerical tasks, and ensuring patient safety and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Graduate of a certified physical therapy technician program or comparable experience.
• One year of experience in a hospital, rehabilitation, or outpatient setting as a therapy technician (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting medically prescribed therapy treatments to patients under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist.
• Provide non-clinical support to the therapist including maintaining patient treatment areas and basic clerical tasks.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
• Support both the downtown and Rio Rancho clinics.
