Job summary

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to provide direct care to patients with mental health or substance use disorders in Albuquerque, NM, and other locations. This full-time role involves assisting with daily activities, monitoring behavior, and supporting treatment plans under supervision.

You will work eight-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, respectful care

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Licensure/Certifications: Behavioral Health Technician certification; Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Experience: Entry-level candidates welcome; prior mental health experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities and personal hygiene.
• Monitor and document patient behavior, symptoms, and progress.
• Implement behavior modification plans and therapeutic programs.
• Facilitate group activities and maintain a safe, supportive environment.
• Use crisis intervention techniques to de-escalate challenging situations.
• Communicate effectively with the treatment team to ensure coordinated care.
