Burke Rehabilitation Hospital in White Plains, NY seeks a capable supervisor for offsite outpatient therapy operations. You will oversee clinical and non-clinical staff, ensure quality patient care, and manage daily operations while contributing to program development and compliance.

The role requires leadership, clinical expertise, and a NY license (PT/OT/SLP) with 8+ years experience in outpatient settings; BLS is preferred. Excellent collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, MAS, or Doctor of Science required.
• Minimum of 8 years of total experience.
• 2–3 years of relevant outpatient clinical and administrative experience required.
• Current New York State license, or eligibility for licensure, as a PT/OT/SLP.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care, including evaluations, treatment planning, goal development, therapeutic interventions, patient/family education, and recommendations for specialized equipment.
• Ensures timely and accurate clinical documentation, billing, and compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
• Supervises, trains, and evaluates clinical and non-clinical staff with ongoing feedback and development.
• Oversees daily site operations including scheduling, productivity monitoring, timekeeping, financial reporting, copayment reconciliation, and supply needs.
• Coordinates communication among staff, referring providers, hospital departments, and leadership.
• Conducts staff meetings, orientation, competency assessments, and staff education.
• Oversees clinical and operational program development and improvement projects.
