Job summary

Sequoia Care in Florida seeks a licensed and experienced Therapy Program Director (OT or OTA) to lead therapy operations at a senior living facility. The role blends clinical oversight with administrative leadership, ensuring quality care, scheduling efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a therapy background and a passion for resident care and team development. This is a full-time on-site position with competitive pay and extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• OTA Associate degree or OT Bachelor degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must hold valid, unencumbered state licensure as OT or OTA.
• Current licensure in Florida (required).
• Ability to be accredited by all insurance payers.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage clinical staff and maintain high service standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and day-to-day management of therapy staff and clinic operations.
• Lead events and in-services with residents and staff.
• Maintain communication with regional leadership, referral sources, and internal teams.
• Oversee therapist schedules, staffing, and workflow for timely service delivery.
• Ensure intake and screening of residents, including insurance and referrals.
• Support documentation compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Serve as liaison for residents, therapists, and families with timely responses.
• May perform direct resident care within licensure scope as needed.
• Maintain supply inventory and office organization.
