Responsibilities

Outpatient Therapist - PRN Opportunity

Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital provides inpatient treatment services to children, adolescents, and adults at our 86-bed facility in Panama City, FL and outpatient services to adolescents and adults at our three outpatient centers located throughout the Florida Panhandle. Additionally, we offer specialized treatment for active duty military members through our Military Resiliency Program, specialized chemical dependency treatment, and TMS therapy for chronic depression.

The Outpatient Therapist provides for the delivery and documentation of age/population specific psychotherapy and social services. Assists family members and referral sources with continuum of care from the admission process through discharge planning.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provides clinically sound individual, family, and group therapies within required time frames and establishes therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
  • Conduct psychosocial assessments appropriate to patient type and reason for referral to assist the team in development of a care plan.
  • Actively participate in treatment team decisions.
  • Provide quality documentation.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or other Human Service field
  • Ability to work at our Emerald Coast Outpatient Center located in Panama City, Florida on a PRN/as needed basis.
