Job summary

Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking an IOP Therapist for an evening, part-time role. The position is hybrid after training, with four days a week, five hours per shift.

Responsibilities include psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, individual/group/family therapies, and inter-disciplinary case coordination. Qualifications include licensure as LPC/LSW or LCSW, MSW or equivalent, and at least two years in IOP.

  • Education: MSW or master’s degree in a recognized mental health field required.
  • Experience: Two years of IOP experience.

  • Participate in the development and implementation of treatment plans, ensuring that concise, realistic care plans are carried out.
  • Provide individual, group and family process-oriented therapies as well as conduct other didactic groups using various professional treatment modalities.
  • Document treatment provided to patient in medical record legibly and in a timely manner.
  • Conduct and attend regular treatment team meetings to provide social service perspective to total case management of the patient with the interdisciplinary team by presenting patient’s case and progress towards treatment plan goals, making treatment recommendations, and actively coordinating each case with all members of the treatment team.

Responsibilities

Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital (LBHH) is a 126-bed, inpatient psychiatric hospital and start-up joint venture between Lancaster General Health/Penn Medicine and Universal Health Services.

In addition to a general adult unit and dedicated adolescent unit, the facility offers services for treating those with co-occurring disorders on the psychiatric-medical unit, an intensive adult unit to care for those with severe conditions, as well as a women’s trauma unit.

Position is Hybrid once fully trained. Work location is a couple days at facility, and a couple days with the work from home flexibility.

Part time position in the evening. Four days a week, working five hours a day.

IOP Therapists are responsible for completing the following duties and tasks:
