Job summary

Ridgeview Behavioral Health Services in Campbell/Scott Counties seeks a part-time outpatient therapist to provide individual and group therapy to pregnant/new mothers under the TN Strong Families grant (16 hours/week). Travel between LaFollette and Oneida offices is required, with a Tuesday/Thursday daytime schedule preferred.

New grads are welcome. For unlicensed staff, supervision is provided for licensure paths (LCSW, LPC-MHSP, LMFT).

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling.
• Trauma-informed treatment training; willingness to become trauma-certified.
• Prefer 1+ years of experience working with mothers and/or clients with substance use issues.
• Prefer group therapy skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver trauma-informed individual therapy to mothers.
• Facilitate group therapy using approved curricula.
• Perform assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Coordinate referrals within Ridgeview and external services.
• Travel between LaFollette and Oneida offices as required.
• Ensure TN Strong Families grant requirements are followed.

RIDGEVIEW, a not-for-profit community mental health center, has an immediate opening for a Part-TimeOutpatient Therapistto provideindividual and group therapy to pregnant/ new mothers in Campbell and Scott counties under the TN Strong Families grant (16 hours/week).
Travel time will be covered from the right candidate's home location, either ourLaFollette orOneida offices. The schedule will be one day per week in LaFollette and one day per week in Oneida, preferably with a Tuesday/Thursday daytime schedule. This position is ideal for a Social Worker or Counselor, especially one with a real heart for moms.
New grads are welcome! For unlicensed staff, supervision is provided for paths leading to LCSW or LPC-MHSP.

REQUIREMENTS

Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling. On TN state licensure track to obtain LCSW, LPC-MHSP, or LMFT license. Trained in providing trauma-informed treatment with willingness to become trauma-certified. Prefer 1+ years of experience working with mothers and/or clients with substance use issues. Prefer group therapy skills. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with people from differing backgrounds and cultures.

JOB DUTIES

Responsible for the delivery of trauma-informed group and individual therapy services consisting of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, including psychotherapy and consultation with other disciplines. Therapist will utilize Mothers and Babies, Nurturing Parenting, and Seeking Safety Evidence-Based Curriculums for groups as appropriate and will be responsible for making clinically-indicated referrals for treatment services both within, and outside of, Ridgeview’s service continuum. Must be willing to travel between offices as these services are provided in Scott and Campbell Counties. Responsible for understanding the TN Strong Families grant requirements and ensuring compliance with those requirements.
