Job summary

Cumberland Hall Hospital in Hopkinsville, KY is seeking an Outpatient Licensed Therapist to provide compassionate psychosocial therapy to patients and families, and to lead case management within an acute psychiatric setting. You will document thoroughly, participate in Master Treatment Plan development, and collaborate with the care team to tailor treatment modalities.

A Master’s in Social Work or Counseling and KY licensure or eligibility are required, with 2+ years in mental health preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or Professional Counseling.
• Two or more years' experience in a mental health setting preferred.
• Licensed or license eligible as social worker, marriage and family counselor, or professional counselor in Kentucky.

Responsibilities

• Completing and maintaining all required documentation in a timely manner consistent with policies and regulations.
• Assessing patient needs regularly and assist in developing and updating the Master Treatment Plan.
• Working within a team environment to ensure that each treatment modality is appropriate for the patient.
• Providing group educational therapies to assigned patients consistent with established techniques and methods relevant to the professional literature.

Cumberland Hall Hospital is a 97 bed, licensed, acute psychiatric hospital located in beautiful Hopkinsville, KY.

Cumberland Hall features individual units for youth, adults and active duty military, and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs.
