Job summary

Legacy Treatment Services is seeking an outpatient therapist to join our team in New Jersey. The role provides on-site, full-time work with two evenings per week (12:30pm–9pm) and a starting salary of $70,000 annually, depending on education, experience, and licensure.

You will deliver individual, group and family therapy, participate in an interdisciplinary team with prescribers, case managers and peer specialists, and support clients through discharge and aftercare planning.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling; 1 year of experience preferred.
• Licensed to practice therapy in New Jersey (LPC or LCSW required).
• Familiarity with outpatient mental health services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and provide clinical counseling services to individuals and families.
• Discharge planning and aftercare coordination.
• Maintain treatment records and coordinate with referring sources.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure integrated care.

This is a 40 hour, on-site, full time benefitted position which includes 2 evenings required per week (12:30pm - 9pm).

Job Summary

The Therapist plans, organizes and implements clinical counseling services to consumers and families. Legacy Treatment Services offers outpatient mental health services for those who could benefit from improvements in mental and behavioral health. Our Outpatient Program offers a comprehensive and personalized approach to mental illness.

Responsibilities

• Plans for discharge and aftercare
• Maintains contact with referring agencies, treatment team providers, and related people, and with the community resources used for referral
• Maintains treatment records
• Assesses and interprets data about the consumer's status in order to identify each consumer's needs and provide the appropriate care, including age-related care, needed by the consumer group

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in counseling field with at least one year of experience preferred
• Licensed to practice therapy in New Jersey
• LPC or LCSW required
