Legacy Treatment Services is seeking a licensed therapist to join our Outpatient Program in New Jersey. You will provide individual, group, and family counseling and collaborate with prescribers, case managers, and peer specialists to deliver coordinated care.

The role is full-time, on-site, with 40 hours per week and two evenings per week (12:30pm - 9pm). Salary starts at $70,000 annually, with comprehensive benefits and paid time off.

Formación

• Master’s Degree in counseling field required or preferred.
• Licensed to practice therapy in New Jersey (LPC or LCSW preferred).
• Experience in counseling settings and working with individuals, families or groups is a plus.

• Maintains treatment records and coordinates discharge and aftercare.

Job Summary

The Therapist plans, organizes and implements clinical counseling services to consumers and families. Legacy Treatment Services offers outpatient mental health services for those who could benefit from improvements in mental and behavioral health. Our Outpatient Program offers a comprehensive and personalized approach to mental illness.

Responsibilities

• Plans for discharge and aftercare
• Maintains contact with referring agencies, treatment team providers, and related people, and with the community resources used for referral
• Maintains treatment records
• Assesses and interprets data about the consumer’s status in order to identify each consumer’s needs and provide the appropriate care, including age-related care, needed by the consumer group

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in counseling field with at least one year of experience preferred
• Licensed to practice therapy in New Jersey
• LPC or LCSW required
