Job summary

Wellvance in Michigan is seeking an Outpatient Therapist to deliver clinical services to individuals with SMI, SED, and/or I/DD. You will manage a caseload, provide therapy, ensure documentation compliance, and collaborate with referral sources.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling, Michigan licensure (LMSW, LLMSW, LPC, or LLPC), and CADC/CAADC certification preferred. Lived experience is encouraged and a flexible on-call rotation is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or Counseling.
• Michigan licensure: LMSW, LLMSW, LPC, or LLPC (full license preferred).
• CADC or CAADC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat adults and children using DSM-5 criteria.
• Provide individual and group therapy.
• Participate in crisis intervention and emergency on-call rotation.
• Determine eligibility for agency services.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
