ClearVista Behavioral Hospital in Lorain, OH is hiring an Outpatient Therapist/Counselor for a full-time day shift. You will provide outpatient psychotherapy, including group and individual therapy, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement and review treatment plans.

Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling and an active Ohio license (MSW/LSW/LISW/MFT/LPC/LPCC). Prior experience with groups and substance abuse treatment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or Marriage and Family Counseling is required.
• Active license in Ohio for Social Work or Counseling (MSW, LSW, LISW, MFT, LPC, or LPCC).
• Experience in groups and substance abuse treatment; 2 years with psychiatric population preferred.
• Ability to work in a team and interact tactfully with staff, residents, families, visitors, and agencies.
• Basic computer literacy and knowledge of social services practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapy and counseling in outpatient settings, including group, individual, and family therapy.
• Ensure accurate and timely patient documentation for outpatient services.
• Deliver direct social work services within a multidisciplinary team, focusing on psychosocial assessments and treatment planning.
• Follow direction from the Program Director.
• May run a group on the inpatient unit if needed.
