Our entire staff is trained in a treatment model of social learning and positive reinforcement that promotes positive behaviors. Outpatient programs teach life skills and coping mechanisms to enrich patients’ lives.

We offer a wide range of behavioral health programs for children, adolescents, and adults at multiple levels of care, including inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient. We are available 24/7 to assist with treatment options and insurance coverage inquiries.

West Oaks Outpatient Branches Houston seeks a dedicated and positive Therapist to join our compassionate team. The Outpatient Therapist will work with adults and adolescents experiencing various psychological and complex life challenges. Responsibilities include collaborating with patients, families/support systems, multidisciplinary teams, outside providers, and community agencies to support treatment and discharge planning. The therapist will also focus on personal development to enhance practice, working with adolescents and children.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Complete psychosocial assessments, treatment plan reviews, and conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions within established timeframes, either face-to-face or telephonically, involving patients, families, and significant others.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, RNs, care managers, and other healthcare professionals, in crisis intervention, behavioral plan creation, case conferences, client-centered interventions, and discharge planning.
  • Conduct therapeutic groups and provide comprehensive education, instructions, and advocacy to assist patients and significant others in identifying and securing necessary healthcare follow-up services.
