Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks an Outpatient Therapist in Logan, Utah, to join a multi-disciplinary team delivering individual, family, or group psychotherapy. The role involves interviewing patients, diagnostics, and coordinating with psychiatrists, APPs, and nurses for holistic care.

The position offers a $2500 sign-on bonus for external candidates and requires credentialing prior to start. 40 scheduled weekly hours with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• PhD or PsyD in Psychology from an accredited program.
• Current psychologist license in states served.
• Master’s degree in social work with current licensure as LCSW/LMFT/CMHC.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer skills (email, word processing).

Responsibilities

• Assesses medical and mental health history to plan treatment.
• Diagnoses and treats mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.
• Develops a care plan with input from patient, family and team.
• Provides treatment based on patient needs and evidenced-based interventions.
• Refers patients to community services and other providers.
• Documents information regarding the patient’s plan of care.
• Consults with the team to develop treatment and discharge plans.
