Tucker Pavilion of Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, VA is seeking a Licensed or Licensed-Eligible therapist with CSAC certification to join our Chemical Dependency IOP team. You will deliver evidence-based groups, develop treatment plans, and coordinate discharge planning with an interdisciplinary team.

The role requires CSAC or valid licensure with at least one year of Chemical Dependency experience, and includes comprehensive benefits and a supportive environment focused on patient care.

Qualifications

• CSAC certification required or license with 1 year experience in chemical dependency
• Masters degree required
• Virginia CSAC or fully licensed with at least 1 year experience in Chemical Dependency

Responsabilités

• Conduct evidence-based process, psychoeducational and activity groups with patients seeking substance use and/or mental health treatment.
• Develop treatment plans and attend treatment planning meetings and reviews on an ongoing basis.
• Assess environment and identify risk factors related to patient safety (e.g., suicide, homicide, falls, elopement) and report/report safety issues or changes in condition.
• Complete assessments, group notes, and all documentation promptly and in compliance with requirements.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, collateral sources, and patient’s support system to assess and coordinate discharge planning needs.
• Conduct post-discharge follow-up as indicated.

Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Licensed or Licensed-Eligible (Clinical supervision will be provided!) therapist with current CSAC certification for our Chemical Dependency IOP program team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. • What you will do in this role:

• Conduct evidence-based process, psychoeducational and activity groups with patients seeking substance use and/or mental health treatment.

• Develop treatment plans and attends treatment planning meetings and reviews on an ongoing basis.

• Assess environment and identify risk factors related to patient safety (e.g., suicide, homicide, falls, elopement) and report/respond to actual and potential safety issues or changes in the patient's condition.

• Complete assessments, group notes, and all other documentation promptly and in compliance with requirements, as appropriate to scope.

• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, collateral sources, and patient’s support system to assess and coordinate discharge planning needs and readiness for discharge.

• Conducts post-discharge follow-up as indicated.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date

• Masters Degree

• Virginia Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) OR Fully licensed with at least 1 year experience working in the field of Chemical Dependency
