Job summary

Children’s Service Center and the Robinson Counseling Center for Adults seeks an energetic Outpatient Therapist to provide diagnostic assessments and a range of therapies for children, adolescents, families and adults facing community, home or school challenges.

The role involves conducting substance abuse and trauma screenings, psychiatric/psychological evaluations, and medication monitoring in a supportive, collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited college/university with clinical practicum
• Licensed in a clinical discipline with mental health experience (LSW/LPC/LCSW)
• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, rehabilitation or activity therapies
• Graduate degree with 12 graduate credits in mental health or counseling from an accredited program

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic bio-psycho-social assessments
• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy
• Conduct substance abuse and trauma exposure screenings
• Perform psychiatric and psychological evaluations
• Monitor medications as appropriate
• Support clients across children, adolescents, families, and adults in community, home, or school settings

Purpose of this Position:Children’s Service Center and the Robinson Counseling Center for Adults is currently looking for an energetic and dependable person who works well independently and collectively with other team members. If you are ambitious and confident in your ability to lead, the Outpatient Therapist position provides services that include diagnostic bio-psycho social assessments, individual, group and family therapy, substance abuse screenings, trauma exposure screenings, domestic violence screenings, psychiatric evaluations, psychological evaluations, medication assessments and medication monitoring.
