Community Services Group is seeking an Outpatient Therapist (Mental Health Professional) in Lancaster to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to individuals and families within an integrated team. The role emphasizes DBT-based treatment, family engagement, and community-based counseling, with on-call coverage and regular supervision.

The position is full-time (40 hrs/wk), with 2 evenings per week, aligned with the Adult and Youth Mental Health outpatient program.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctorate degree in social work, counseling, psychology or related field.
• Licensed as one of the following: LSW, LCSW, LAPC, LPC, LAMFT or LMFT.
• License to practice in the state as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy and education to families to enable home-based care.
• Offer individual, family, and group counseling for children, adolescents, and families.
• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services per applicable standards.
• Participate in clinical team and staff meetings.
• Provide on-call services as scheduled by the Program Director.
• Collaborate with professionals while often working independently.
• DBT-specific duties including therapy and coaching.

**Summary:**The Outpatient Therapist (Mental Health Professional) is responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to individuals and their families. The Mental Health Professional participates actively in all relevant team, supervision, and general staff meetings, to enhance the services of Community Services Group. The Mental Health Professional reports to the Program Coordinator or Director. This position is part of our Adult and Youth Mental Health (MH) Services Outpatient Services in Lancaster. Full-Time (40 hrs./wk.) Monday to Friday office hours with 2 evenings per week.**Wage Information:**Starting salary: LSW/LAPC/LAMFT- $50,000. LPC/LCSW/LMFT- $55,000. Negotiable based on experience/licensure.**Job Description:*** Provides treatment services to families including therapy, skills training, and education designed to enable families to care for their mentally ill or emotionally disturbed children in the home.* Works closely with other mental health specialists, such as psychiatrists, psychologists, clinical social workers, case managers, psychiatric nurses, school counselors, and behavioral health providers.* Provides diagnostic and therapeutic services in accordance with standards applicable to mental health professionals.* Provide individual, family and/or group counseling services to children, adolescents, and families.* Provides on-call services as scheduled by the Program Director.* Actively participates in clinical team and staff meetings.* Provides clinical counseling in community settings, when applicable.* Collaborate with other professionals, but primarily works independently.* Knowledge of behavior health diagnosis and coding for children/adolescent, adults, and the elderly.* Ability to collaborate with the family and/or primary caregiver and/or other members of the healthcare team.**Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Additional Duties*** The DBT Therapist is responsible for providing comprehensive DBT treatment with fidelity to the model, working with both adolescents and adults* Provide DBT individual therapy, DBT skills group, and DBT coaching call service.* Conduct DBT assessments.* Utilize core DBT techniques, including diary card review, chain analysis, skills coaching, and the target hierarchy.* Attend the DBT consultation team consistently to discuss client cases, therapist needs, and program issues.* Complete the DBT foundational training, required mentoring, and homework assignments (including session observation/videotaping).* Commit to providing treatment for two years after completing training.* Develop a therapeutic rapport with clients and team members.* Be willing to accept constructive feedback and show a willingness for change within the consultation team.**Qualifications:**This position requires one of the following combinations of education and experience:Master’s or doctorate degree from an accredited college or university in social work, counseling, psychology or a related field; ANDLicensed as one of the following: Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), License Associate Marriage and Family Therapy (LAMFT) or License Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT).### **CSG Offers Superior Perks & Benefits:*** Medical, Dental, Prescription, & Vision Insurance available for employees, spouses, domestic partners, & dependents who qualify.* Generous Paid Time Off & Other Paid Leave* Extensive Paid Training* Career Development Opportunities* Flexible Pay Options through myFlexPay* Family Medical and Parental Leave* Flexible spending accounts for medical & dependent care* Traditional or Roth 401K Plans with up to 4% employer match* Employee Assistance Program (EAP)* Life Insurance* Wellness Opportunities* Tuition Assistance* Mentor/Mentee OpportunitiesHealth Insurance & Benefits availability will vary.Make a positive impact not only in someone else's life but in your own life by becoming a valued member of the CSG Team!Community Services Group is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and values a diverse, inclusive workforce.
