Job summary

National Counseling Group (NCG) seeks an Outpatient Therapist to join our Virginia team. You will provide case management, crisis intervention, psychological evaluations, and wraparound support to children and families, delivering evidence-based care.

Must be licensed or license-eligible in Virginia (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) or a Resident in Counseling. The role offers flexible scheduling, collaborative supervision, and a pathway for clinical focus development within a mission-driven network.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

The Outpatient Therapist plays a vital role in our mission to deliver coordinated, individualized care to our communities.As an Outpatient Therapist , you will provide:Case Management Services: Coordinate and manage services for clients, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and support.Service Plans: Develop individualized, written service plans to address clients’ specific needs and goals.Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate support and intervention during mental health crises.Evaluations and Assessments: Conduct psychological evaluations and write diagnostic assessments, including those for behavioral, substance abuse, and economic self-sufficiency issues.Facilitate Wraparound Meetings: Organize and lead team meetings to ensure coordinated care among providers and natural supports.This description outlines the general scope and level of work for this role.
