Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a dynamic PHP/IOP Therapist to join the Outpatient Team at Rolling Hills Hospital. The Therapist provides group counseling in outpatient programming, delivers crisis intervention as needed, and works to form therapeutic relationships with patients.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm. A Master’s Degree in the Behavioral Health Field is required, along with Current HWC and CPR Certification (training provided) and a Tennessee Driver’s License.

Rolling Hills is looking for a dynamic PHP/IOP Therapist to join our Outpatient Team. The PHP/IOP Therapist is responsible for providing group counseling services in outpatient programming. The Therapist provides appropriate crisis intervention as necessary, provides psycho-educational group exercises, and demonstrates an ability to form therapeutic relationships.

Hours for this position are Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm.

Qualifications

Education/Licensure/Certification

• Master’s Degree in the Behavioral Health Field (e.g. Counseling, Social Work, Psychology) REQUIRED
• Current HWC and CPR Certification (Training will be provided)

Experience

Experience in providing individual and group counseling to individuals in a psychiatric treatment setting; excellent telephone etiquette and tact; ability to interact effectively with persons of widely diverse roles, backgrounds, cultures, and socio-economic classes, those in crisis or resistant or negative toward organization; effective oral and written communication skills; basic data entry skills preferred; organizational, time management, problem solving, crisis management skills necessary; flexibility, creativity, and ability to manage stress necessary.
