Job summary

The Nemours Foundation in Wilmington, Delaware, seeks a Therapeutic Technician (Outpatient Therapy Services) full-time to join its Nemours Children's Health team. The incumbent will organize, prepare, and assist in delivering patient care in pediatric and adult rehabilitation settings.

Primary responsibilities include maintaining treatment areas, supporting therapists, and ensuring safety protocols. Requires BLS, lifeguard, and pool operator certifications, with experience in clinical patient

Qualifications

High School Diploma required.
BLS certification required upon hire and maintained during employment.
Certified Pool Operator certification required upon hire.
Lifeguard certification preferred.
Experience assisting therapists and nursing personnel in a clinical setting is expected.

Responsibilities

Organize, prepare and assist in delivery of patient care in Therapeutic and Rehabilitative Services.
Maintain treatment and patient care areas following safety and infection control guidelines.
Assist with transfers, ambulation and activities of daily living under supervision of licensed personnel.
Schedule appointments, answer phones, and perform patient check-in as needed.
Transport patients to therapy appointments and support aquatic therapy activities.
Maintain equipment and logs, ensure regulatory standards are met.
