Job summary

Longleaf Recovery and Wellness in Spanish Fort, AL is seeking a Therapist to provide individual and group therapy to clients with substance use disorders. Under supervision of the Clinical Director, you will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team.

This position requires a Master’s degree in social work or related field and Alabama licensure eligibility. You will work a mix of day and possibly weekend shifts in an in-person outpatient setting,

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Addiction Studies or related field.
• Licensed or eligible for professional licensure in the State of Alabama.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy to clients with substance use disorders.
• Complete biopsychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans with clients and families.
• Maintain accurate client records and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Attend staff meetings and supervise conferences as needed.
• Discharge planning and aftercare coordination to support client transitions.
