Job summary

ARS Treatment Centers in Turnersville, NJ is seeking a Counselor to join our outpatient team. The Counselor provides direct counseling and case management services, including individual and group sessions, assessments, and aftercare planning.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and CADC or LCADC certification, with at least 1,820 hours of clinical experience. We offer competitive wages and benefits to our dedicated staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with clinical specialty in human services) or related field, plus 1 year (1,820 hours) of clinical experience.
• CADC or LCADC certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain caseload per State Regulations.
• Conduct psychosocial assessment and prepare interpretive summaries.
• Develop and review Preliminary Treatment Plans and Comprehensive Treatment Plans.
• Coordinate aftercare transition planning prior to discharge.
• Comply with CARF, 42 CFR, HIPAA and company policies.
