Job summary

You will develop treatment activities, conduct individual/group counseling, coordinate referrals, and support grant opportunities to fund program operations while maintaining HIPAA privacy standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in psychology, social work, counseling, or related behavioral health field with requisite practicum.
• Minimum five years of prevention and treatment experience in behavioral health.
• Strong English communication skills; ability to work with a multidisciplinary team and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery and documentation of clinical services for Level 1 Outpatient program.
• Conduct comprehensive intake interviews and prepare intake reports.
• Develop and conduct treatment activities aligned with the client's treatment plan.
• Provide individual and group counseling and coordinate recreational activities as appropriate.
• Coordinate referrals for employment, legal services, medical care, and other supports.
• Ensure compliance with Alabama Dept. of Mental Health and Joint Commission standards; train staff; monitor policies.
