Job summary

A regional health provider in Ohio is seeking an Outpatient Staff Pharmacist to review and verify prescriptions, conduct clinical reviews, and provide patient counseling. This role requires a pharmacist with current Ohio licensure and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. The candidate will be responsible for administering vaccinations and serving as a resource for medical and nursing staff. The position is casual/PRN in the outpatient Pharmacies located in Ontario and Crestline.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensed in Ohio with current good standing.
• Graduated from an accredited Pharmacy school.
• Current BLS and immunization provider certifications.

Job description

The Outpatient Staff Pharmacist reviews and verifies prescriptions, conducts clinical reviews, completes patient counseling, administers vaccinations, and serves as a drug information resource to patients, medical staff, nursing staff and ancillary department personnel. Compounds and dispenses prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals. Supervises and directs pharmacy technicians, interns and support personnel.

This role will be casual/PRN pharmacist position in our outpatient/retail pharmacy locations in Ontario and Crestline, Ohio.

Job Requirements

• Current licensure as a Pharmacist in good standing in the State of Ohio.
• Graduated from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Doctor of Pharmacy degree or Bachelor of Science degree of equivalent.
• Current BLS, immunization provider certifications.
