Job summary

Michigan Medicine’s Brighton Center for Specialty Care (BCSC) Comprehensive Musculoskeletal Center and UM Health Spine/Orthopedics seeks a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our high-volume outpatient team. The PTA will treat spine and orthopedic conditions across the lifespan under supervision, contributing to excellent service and teamwork.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years outpatient orthopedic experience, current Michigan licensure, and strong documentation and communication

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Michigan.
• Primary source verification required.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients with diseases, injuries, disorders and disabilities; relieve pain, restore function, and maintain maximum performance.
• Provide treatment under supervision of a physical therapist with focused treatment plans.
• Document patient treatment and discharge status clearly and timely.
