Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA (CCC-SLP).
• Indiana State license to practice as Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Current CPR certification per AHA standards or ability to obtain within 4 weeks.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in rehabilitation; CFY considered.

Responsibilities

• Administers SLP evaluations for inpatients and outpatients and determines appropriate treatment programs.
• Provides comprehensive assessment of speech, language, cognitive, voice, swallowing impairments.
• Develops patient-centered treatment plans based on evaluation, goals, and age-related needs.
• Ensures treatments meet medical necessity and use evidence-based approaches.
• Completes documentation in a timely, compliant manner.
• Charges appropriately for services and documents outcome measures.
• Provides clinical supervision to techs and students per regulations and hospital guidelines.
