Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active California licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Ability to work effectively in an Outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' communication and swallowing needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy to improve speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques.
• Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Implement interventions in outpatient, acute care, and skilled nursing facilities.
• Participate in discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care.
