Qualifications

• ND state license to practice Speech Language Pathology in North Dakota.
• ASHA CCC or in process of completing the required clinical fellowship year when supervising students.
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform consultation, assessment, and differential diagnosis for speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized habilitative and rehabilitative treatment plans addressing communication and swallowing needs.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, care plans in the EMR for care continuity and compliance.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies, treatment expectations, and home programs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and align therapy with patient goals.
• Participate in departmental meetings and ongoing professional development to uphold best-practice standards.
