Wellstar Health System is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our radiology team on a PRN basis. You will perform diagnostic ultrasound studies, position patients, and ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining safety and patient comfort.

Responsibilities include obtaining patient history, labeling studies, and collaborating with radiologists to meet department needs. Prerequisites include a sonography program, ARDMS/ARRT-S, and BLS compliance.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Sonography program completion preferred; ARDMS or ARRT-S licensure required on hire.
• BLS certification or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of a Sonography Training Program.

• Prepare and position patients for ultrasound exams.
• Obtain accurate clinical history and document findings.
• Maintain image quality and ensure proper labeling and chain of custody.
