Job summary

The role requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology, valid Maryland/DC/VA licensure, CFY completion, ASHA CCC, and BLS; you’ll contribute to program planning, supervision of students, and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Completion of clinical fellowship year (CFY).
• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Maryland, District of Columbia, and/or Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).

Responsibilities

• Provides evaluation services including review of pertinent historical information and assessments with documentation of results.
• Implements treatment protocols based on evaluation findings and patient presentation; consults with other professionals as needed.
• Completes discharge planning and documents patient care activities clearly.
• Manages scheduling and productivity while ensuring access to care with empathy.
• Directs continuing education and serves as a clinical instructor for students.
