Outpatient Shoulder Ortho Physical Therapist

Join to apply for the Outpatient Shoulder Ortho Physical Therapist role at Intermountain Health.

This position involves screening, testing, evaluating, diagnosing, and treating injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures. It also includes consulting, educating, and training patients, families, and caregivers, and collaborating with care teams to deliver quality, patient-centered care.

Scope

The therapist provides physical therapy care to outpatient shoulder patients, including conservative, pre-operative, and post-operative cases, working closely with orthopedic physicians specializing in shoulder joints.

Essential Functions
  • Provide skilled physical therapy services, conducting evaluations and treatments according to professional standards.
  • Meet productivity standards and maintain thorough, timely patient records.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Manage all aspects of patient care and supervise staff and students.
  • Participate in continuing education and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to program development and marketing efforts.

Details

Location: TOSH, Murray, Utah. Schedule: 40 hours/week. Pay range: $41.22 - $63.59/hr, based on experience.
