Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited school of social work or related field.
• Experience in outpatient healthcare required, with knowledge of psychiatric and substance use treatment.
• Current unencumbered clinical social work or counseling license.
• CPR certification and CPI training within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives.
• Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality objectives.
• Plans staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
• Prepares and monitors departmental budgets, and ensures compliance with funding; coordinates internal/external audits.
• Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
• Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
