Job summary

Sanford is seeking an Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to lead assessments, planning, and coordination of care in an outpatient setting. You will work with the health care team to implement nursing interventions and evaluate patient outcomes.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and an active RN license in the practice state; a BSN is preferred. On-call is required for weekends and one holiday per year.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program preferred, including AACN/ACEN/NLN CNEA.
• Current unencumbered RN license with State Board where practice occurs.
• Obtains and maintains required department-specific licensure, competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care, perform assessments, and implement nursing interventions in outpatient settings.
• Educate patients and collaborate with physicians and health care team to plan and evaluate care.
• Practice within Nursing Practice Act and follow professional standards and ethics.
