• Cooperates with personnel to achieve department objectives and infection control policies.
• Prepares patients for procedures and records history; performs basic triage per policy.
• Retrieves initial patient condition, creates nursing history and reports to practitioner.
• Demonstrates patient-centered communication using AIDET principles.
• Assists providers with examinations and procedures.
• Maintains a safe, comfortable environment for patients and families.
• Ensures accurate recording in patient medical records and required reports.
