Job summary

RenalCare Associates in Peoria, IL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an outpatient clinic role. You will coordinate care for patients with complex needs, requiring strong clinical judgment, critical thinking and clear communication.

This Monday–Friday position offers daylight hours with no nights, weekends or holidays. You will work closely with physicians and the clinical team to triage, educate patients and ensure safe, timely care across the care continuum.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license is required.
• Professional nursing experience in a clinic or similar setting preferred.
• Strong critical-thinking and clinical decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Triage patient calls and assess symptoms and needs.
• Prioritize urgent vs routine patient issues using nursing judgment.
• Communicate concerns to physicians and coordinate orders, testing and referrals.
• Provide patient education on medications and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
