Job summary

Allina Health in Shoreview, MN seeks a registered nurse for outpatient clinic care. The position is 1.0 FTE with an 8-hour day shift (7:00 AM–5:00 PM hours within range) and no evenings or weekends. Responsibilities center on coordinating and delivering patient care in a clinic setting.

The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, collaborating with LPNs and MAs to meet patient needs and ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Vocational degree graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 0 to 2 years RN experience.
• New graduate hires may be considered.
• Internal clinic employees who have functioned successfully as a CMA or LPN with a minimum of 3 years may be considered from an accredited school that does not have clinical rotations.

Responsibilities

• Assess data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation.
• Identify nursing diagnoses based on assessment data.
• Establish realistic, measurable patient outcomes with patient and family.
• Develop an individualized care plan to achieve outcomes.
• Implement the plan safely and document interventions.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust the plan as needed.
• Demonstrate leadership and collaboration in care delivery.
• Promote quality nursing practice and continued education.
