Inova Health System is seeking an Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) for its Internal Medicine team in Arlington, VA. This full-time day-shift role runs Monday through Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, at 3833 N. Fairfax Drive #200.

Primary duties include intakes, med reconciliation, care coordination and patient triage in an outpatient setting. Qualified candidates hold a BSN, a Virginia RN license or eligibility, and may have 0 years of RN experience with preferred 1–2 years.

Qualifications

• BSN required for this RN position.
• RN license or eligibility to practice in Virginia.
• If ADN, BSN must be completed within 5 years of start date.

Responsibilities

• Performs essential duties in clinic or outpatient operations including full intakes, med reconciliation, care coordination and patient triage.
• Provides safe, holistic care in a physician practice or outpatient setting with patient and family education.
• Guides others, acts as a resource and mentor, and supports practice improvements for efficiency.
• Makes independent clinical decisions based on education and experience.

Education

BSN from an accredited school of nursing

RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia

If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date
