Job summary

Olmsted Medical Center is seeking an RN for Outpatient Stewartville Family Medicine. This 0.9 FTE day-shift position requires Minnesota RN licensure, BLS, ACLS preferred, and offers a strong benefits package.

The RN will perform comprehensive assessments, develop and coordinate integrated plans of care, implement nursing interventions, educate patients, and collaborate with the health care team to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited professional nursing program.
• Current Minnesota Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification preferred (Northwest Clinic and Hospital locations).
• Minimum of one year nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides a comprehensive assessment of the health status of a patient and plans care.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop an integrated plan of care.
• Develops nursing interventions to be integrated into the plan of care.
• Implements nursing care through independent actions.
• Delivers interventions delegated or ordered by a licensed clinician.
• Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
• Advocates for patients' best interests and evaluates outcomes.
• Coordinates care with other professionals across settings.
